Vibhishana Sees With His Own Eyes the Feet Worshiped by Brahma and Shiva

Vibhishana's gaze descends toward the twin lotus feet before him. They rest upon the same shore where he has just arrived without kingdom, certainty, or any claim upon the Lord's welcome.
Brahma and Shiva worship these feet. Sages seek them in meditation, Bharata serves their sandals, and the worlds receive their hidden support. Yet Vibhishana, born in the demon lineage and cast out of Lanka, beholds them directly with his own unblinking eyes.
Boundless is my fortune, he exclaims. Immeasurable is Rama's grace, the gathered treasure of bliss. Nothing in his former palace equals this instant of sight. The ocean lies uncrossed, the armies wait, and Ravana still holds the golden city, but Vibhishana already possesses a joy before which sovereignty becomes small.
What gods adore from heaven, the homeless refugee beholds upon the sand.

Boundless, boundless is my fortune! Immeasurable is Rama's grace, that treasure of bliss! With these very eyes I have beheld the lotus feet of the Lord, worshipped by Brahma and Shiva themselves.
