Rama's words pass through Hanuman like a sudden blaze of dawn. He hears that the Lord cannot repay him, and he looks up into the face whose sorrow and affection have filled the clearing.
Joy surges through every limb of the mighty hero. The one who crossed the measureless sea, stood alone in Ravana's court, and left golden Lanka burning can no longer remain upright before a few words from his beloved Lord.
Overwhelmed with love, Hanuman falls at Rama's feet. His hands reach for the only refuge he desires, and a broken cry rises again and again: save me, save me, O Lord. The army, the ocean, and the coming war recede from the moment. There is only the servant upon the earth and Bhagavan standing above him.
The conqueror of Lanka seeks no reward but rescue at the feet of Rama.

सुनि प्रभु बचन बिलोकि मुख गात हरषि हनुमंत। चरन परेउ प्रेमाकुल त्राहि त्राहि भगवंत।।32।।
Hearing the Lord's words, beholding His face, Hanuman was filled with harsha in every limb. Overwhelmed with prema, he fell at Bhagavan's feet, crying 'Traahi, traahi! Save me, save me, O Lord!'
