Hanuman asks Mother Janaki to steady her heart. The assurance he has given will now be followed by the words Rama entrusted specifically for her.
He announces the message of Raghupati, but love overtakes the messenger before the message can fully begin. The Lord's words are about to cross the last distance. His throat tightens and speech becomes broken.
Tears fill his eyes. The servant carries Rama's separation so faithfully that delivering it requires his own body to enter the sorrow. Sita waits while the message gathers itself inside Hanuman's trembling voice.
Rama's message reaches Hanuman's throat, and the messenger must pass through tears before words can continue.

रघुपति कर संदेसु अब सुनु जननी धरि धीर। अस कहि कपि गद गद भयउ भरे बिलोचन नीर।।14।।
"Now, Mother, steady your heart and hear Raghupati's message." Saying this, Hanuman became choked with love, his eyes brimming with tears.
