Surasa's enormous mouth closes, and the obstacle becomes a witness. Hanuman has answered force with force, then escaped the contest through a swiftness and smallness no devouring jaw could hold.

She names what the test has shown. He is a treasury of strength and wisdom, and through those joined powers he will accomplish all of Rama's work.

The mother of serpents gives her blessing and leaves the sky. Hanuman goes onward filled with joy. Behind him remains not a defeated enemy but a divine assurance spoken over the still unfinished crossing.

The test releases Hanuman with a blessing: Rama's whole work will be accomplished through strength joined to wisdom.

Read the passage from the Manas

राम काजु सबु करिहहु तुम्ह बल बुद्धि निधान। आसिष देह गई सो हरषि चलेउ हनुमान।।2।।

"You will accomplish all of Rama's work, for you are a treasury of strength and wisdom." Giving this blessing, Surasa departed. Hanuman flew onward with great joy.
