Rama Bows to Ayodhya With Tears Before Bathing at Triveni

With Sita beside him, compassionate Rama bows toward Ayodhya. The city is his kingdom and birthplace, yet he approaches it first through reverence rather than possession.
Tears fill his eyes and every hair rises as joy returns again and again. The Lord who remained steady beneath Ravana's weapons trembles before the sight of home.
Then Rama comes to Triveni and bathes in gladness at the meeting of the sacred rivers. With the vanaras beside him, he gives many kinds of gifts to the brahmins. Victory closes through purification, gratitude, and generosity before royal entry. Lanka Kanda ends with the Lord between water and home, surrounded by the companions whose love he refused to leave behind, offering reverence to the land ahead and gifts beside the current that has carried exile toward completion.
At the edge of home, Rama bows with wet eyes, bathes where the rivers meet, and lets victory become gratitude.

सीता सहित अवध कहुँ कीन्ह कृपाल प्रनाम। सजल नयन तन पुलकित पुनि पुनि हरषित राम।।120(क)।। पुनि प्रभु आइ त्रिबेनीं हरषित मज्जनु कीन्ह। कपिन्ह सहित बिप्रन्ह कहुँ दान बिबिध बिधि दीन्ह।।120(ख)।।
Along with Sita, the compassionate Lord bowed in reverence to Ayodhya. With moist eyes and thrilled body, Rama rejoiced again and again. Then the Lord came to the Triveni and joyfully performed his ablutions. Along with the monkeys, he gave various kinds of gifts to the Brahmins.
