Sita calls Hanuman her son and gives the blessing no material treasure could equal. May every noble virtue dwell within your heart, she says.
The heart that already held courage, discernment, humility, strength, tenderness, and unwavering service is blessed as a home for the entire company of goodness. Sita does not offer virtues as passing ornaments but as permanent inhabitants.
May the Lord of Kosala, together with Ananta, remain always gracious toward you. Her blessing gathers Rama and the infinite Shesha into ceaseless favor over the servant who crossed the sea for her. Hanuman asked only to see Rama victorious, and Sita answers by placing him forever beneath Rama's kindness. The three worlds could not supply a gift, so the Mother gives what contains and surpasses them: virtue within, and the Lord's grace around him without end.
Sita gives Hanuman an inner kingdom of every virtue and an endless sky of Rama's grace above it.
