Mandodari Sees Ravana Receive the State Rare Even to Yogis

Alas, my lord, Mandodari says to the fallen Ravana. Grief remains in the address, but the vision within grief has changed. She is no longer recounting only what power has lost.
There is no ocean of compassion equal to Raghunatha. The enemy her husband dismissed as human has answered enmity with a gift that no conquest of worlds could obtain.
God has given Ravana the state that companies of yogis find difficult to reach. The Doha does not erase his actions or the suffering they caused. It makes Rama's grace immeasurable against them. Ravana seized, imprisoned, threatened, and fought, yet death at Rama's hand became passage into the Lord's own abode. Mandodari looks at the end of pride and perceives something pride could never win: liberation received from the one it refused to recognize.
The empire Ravana won has vanished, and the state no conquest could win is given by the compassion of Rama.

Alas, O master! There is no other compassionate ocean like Raghunatha. The state difficult for hosts of yogis to attain; that the Lord has given to you.
