The gods who trembled through Ravana's omens, illusions, and regenerating heads now receive the gaze of Rama. His eyes pass over the celestial assembly after the enemy has fallen.
That glance makes them fearless. No new weapon is required to end the fear that remains after danger. The same Lord whose arrows dried the hidden nectar releases safety through the gentleness of sight.
Bears and vanaras rejoice across the field. The companions who were scattered by copies, buried beneath arrows, and crushed under the falling body rise into victory around Mukunda, the abode of bliss. Fear departs from heaven and joy returns to earth through one center. Rama does not merely remove Ravana from the world. His compassionate vision restores the beings who had lived under Ravana's shadow and allows them to feel the freedom his victory has opened.
After thirty one arrows end the tyrant, one glance from Rama ends the fear that tyranny left behind.

Casting His gracious glance, the Lord made all the gods fearless. All the bears and monkeys rejoiced; victory to Mukunda, the abode of bliss!
