Armless Kumbhakarna Charges With a Mouth Wide Enough to Terrify Heaven

Both arms lie upon the battlefield, yet Kumbhakarna does not halt. A shriek tears from him, more terrible because no weapon remains to accompany it.

He opens his mouth and charges directly toward Rama. The immense body has become one movement of hunger, fury, and approaching death, stripped of every defense except the force still driving it forward.

High above, Siddhas and gods recoil. Cries of alas spread through heaven as celestial witnesses behold the mouth rushing toward the lotus eyed Lord. Those who know Rama's divinity still tremble before the form his lila permits to arise. The final charge carries no hope of conquest. It is Kumbhakarna's whole doomed being thrown toward the form he longed to see.

With arms gone and heaven crying out, Kumbhakarna offers his last remaining weapon: the whole body rushing toward Rama.
