Hanuman Departs Praising Bharata's Strength, Character, and Love

Hanuman tells Bharata that he will go at once with the prince's glory held within his heart. He receives permission, bows at Bharata's feet, and rises again with the healing mountain.
As Ayodhya falls behind, Hanuman's mind returns repeatedly to the servant he has just met. Bharata's strength of arm, gentle character, noble virtues, and immeasurable love for the Lord's feet travel with him as inward praise.
The meeting has cost urgency no time in the deeper movement of grace. Hanuman leaves restored, and his understanding of devotion has widened. The warrior who could send mountain and messenger upon one arrow remains in renunciation, living only through love of Rama. The son of the Wind continues toward Lanka, carrying medicine above him and Bharata's unseen greatness within.
Hanuman flies on with the mountain in his hand and Bharata's boundless devotion shining privately in his heart.

तव प्रताप उर राखि प्रभु जेहउँ नाथ तुरंत। अस कहि आयसु पाइ पद बंदि चलेउ हनुमंत।।60(क)।। भरत बाहु बल सील गुन प्रभु पद प्रीति अपार। मन महुँ जात सराहत पुनि पुनि पवनकुमार।।60(ख)।।
Keeping your glory in my heart, O Lord, I shall go at once, said Hanuman. So saying, receiving Bharata's permission and bowing at his feet, Hanumanta departed. Bharata's strength of arm, his virtue, his noble qualities, and his boundless love for the Lord's feet: the son of the Wind praised these again and again in his heart as he went.
