Hanuman and Angada Return Unwearied at the End of Day

Day lowers over the battlefield after Hanuman and Angada have crushed the enemy host through the strength of their arms. The long assault has carried them across walls, palaces, chariots, and crowded ranks.
They look upon the ending light and leap away together. No fatigue bends their bodies or slows the return. What would exhaust ordinary warriors has moved through them without claiming the source of their strength.
The two come back to the place where Bhagavan waits. Evening gathers around Rama's camp as the servants return from the conquered heights. They bring no palace gold and keep no trophy upon themselves. Their movement closes where their courage began, in the presence of the Lord. The battlefield remains behind them for the moment, while service returns unwearied to the one who sent it forth.
At sunset the two leap out of Lanka, carrying only unspent strength back into the presence of Bhagavan.

भुज बल रिपु दल दलमलि देखि दिवस कर अंत। कूदे जुगल बिगत श्रम आए जहँ भगवंत।।45।।
Having crushed the enemy army with the strength of their arms, and seeing the day draw to its close, the two leaped forth, free from fatigue, and came to where Bhagavan was.
