Angada Receives Rama's Command as Grace Already Accomplishing the Work

Angada places the Lord's command upon his head and bows at the lotus feet. The charge is dangerous, but no thought of personal capacity rises first within him.
Whoever receives Rama's grace becomes an ocean of virtues. The work entrusted by the Lord carries its own completion, for the power that sends the servant has already entered the task before him.
Rama has honored me with this service, Angada thinks. Joy moves through his heart, and every hair upon his body rises. He does not mistake the thrill for pride. It is the body receiving the wonder that the Lord has chosen it as an instrument. The road into Lanka begins beneath the shelter of a command held higher than the crown prince's own head.
Angada rises alone for Lanka, yet the accomplished power of Rama's word travels before him.

प्रभु अग्या धरि सीस चरन बंदि अंगद उठेउ। सोइ गुन सागर ईस राम कृपा जा पर करहु।।17(क)।। स्वयं सिद्ध सब काज नाथ मोहि आदरु दियउ। अस बिचारि जुबराज तन पुलकित हरषित हियउ।।17(ख)।।
Placing the Lord's command upon his head and bowing at his feet, Angada rose. 'He upon whom Shri Rama bestows his grace becomes an ocean of virtues, O Isha.' All tasks are accomplished of their own accord, for the Lord has honored me with this charge. Thinking thus, the crown prince felt his body thrill with joy and his heart overflow with delight.
