Mandodari arranges the peaceful future still available to Lanka. First, return Janaki to Rama. Let the stolen queen cross back beneath honor rather than beneath the ruin of armies.
Then lower the many crowned heads at Rama's lotus feet. Give the kingdom to your son, so the throne continues without clinging to the aging hand that has already conquered all it desired.
Finally, go to the forest and worship Raghunatha. The path asks Ravana to turn royal withdrawal into spiritual arrival, leaving palace and possession before war tears both away. Sita restored, succession secured, pride bowed, and life given to worship: Mandodari offers not humiliation but the full dignity of renunciation.
Before war chooses Ravana's ending, Mandodari offers him the honorable freedom of laying down the crown.
