Rama Places the Glory of Victory Upon His Servants

Rama speaks to the vanaras in words sweet as nectar. By your strength, he tells them, the enemy has been destroyed. The Lord who carried the final bow places the achievement upon the companions who carried trees, mountains, messages, medicine, and fidelity.
Vibhishana has received the kingdom of the three cities, and the fame of Rama's servants will remain ever new. Time will not reduce their service to a distant memory while the Lord himself continues to proclaim it.
Then Rama joins their glory to his own within a promise. Whoever sings with supreme love the auspicious fame of these servants together with his fame will cross the limitless ocean of samsara without labor. The warriors stand after battle expecting perhaps gratitude, and receive instead a place within the song that carries future beings to freedom.
Rama makes his servants' courage part of the boat by which generations will cross the ocean of becoming.

किए सुखी कहि बानी सुधा सम बल तुम्हारें रिपु हयो। पायो बिभीषन राज तिहुँ पुर जसु तुम्हारो नित नयो।। मोहि सहित सुभ कीरति तुम्हारी परम प्रीति जो गाइहैं। संसार सिंधु अपार पार प्रयास बिनु नर पाइहैं।।
Speaking words sweet as nectar, he made them happy: 'By your strength the enemy was destroyed. Vibhishana has gained the kingdom of the three worlds, and your fame shall be eternally renewed. Those who sing with supreme love your blessed fame along with mine shall cross the boundless ocean of existence without effort, O men.'
