Sugriva's command falls upon the assembled army, and every direction opens. The monkeys depart immediately, carrying the one-month boundary and the name of Janaki into forests, mountains, and unknown lands.
The clearing before Rama empties into many roads. Vast hosts that could not be counted are divided by the compass and swallowed by the search.
Yet Sugriva keeps a few warriors near. He calls Angada, heir of Vali, Nala, master among the monkeys, and Hanuman, servant already known to Rama's heart. From the scattered army a chosen southern company begins to take shape.
The army pours into every direction while Angada, Nala, and Hanuman remain before the king.

Hearing his words, all the monkeys set out at once in every direction. Then Sugriva specially called Angada, Nala, and Hanuman.
