Sugriva Places Lakshmana in Front and Goes Joyfully to Rama

The danger within Kishkindha has passed. Sugriva leaves the palace not in chains or despair, but with joy, ready to stand again before the friend whose work pleasure had obscured.
Angada and the other monkeys accompany him. The crown prince who first entered Lakshmana's anger now walks within a company restored to direction.
They place Lakshmana at the front. The one who came as a warning becomes the guide leading them back to Raghunatha. Palace, gate, and mountain road fall behind as Sugriva goes to answer Rama face to face.
Lakshmana came carrying fear and now leads a joyful company back to Rama.

हरषि चले सुग्रीव तब अंगदादि कपि साथ। रामानुज आगें करि आए जहँ रघुनाथ।।20।।
Then Sugriva departed with great joy, accompanied by Angada and the other monkeys. Placing Lakshmana at the forefront, they came to where Lord Raghunath awaited.
