Green Grass Covers the Road as Hollow Disputes Cover Sacred Texts

Rain has turned the earth green and crowded it with grass. Growth lies so thick across the ground that travelers can no longer distinguish the paths beneath it.
The road has not ceased to exist. It has been covered by abundance without direction, and the eye searching for a way can no longer separate passage from field.
Rama sees the same concealment in the life of sacred teaching. When hollow sectarian disputes and pakhanda arguments spread over the field of understanding, the true scriptures become hidden. Words multiply like grass while the path they were meant to reveal disappears beneath them.
The path remains beneath the grass, as sacred truth remains beneath the noise of empty dispute.
Read the passage from the Manas
हरित भूमि तृन संकुल समुझि परहिं नहिं पंथ। जिमि पाखंड बाद तें गुप्त होहिं सदग्रंथ।।14।।
The earth grows green and thick with grass, so that paths can no longer be found. Just so, the sacred scriptures (sadgranth) become hidden when covered over by the noise of paakhand (hypocrisy).
