Before the first star burns, Sita is present. From the depth of her power, creation unfolds in widening circles. Light pours across the heavens. Mountains rise from the earth, rivers break from stone, seeds open beneath dark soil, and living beings awaken into their appointed forms. The stillness has become a universe.
Through her, the worlds are sustained. Breath follows breath. Rain reaches the fields. Fruit ripens upon the branch, and a mother bends toward the cry of her child in the night. When each form has completed its measure, the same power gathers it back. Fires darken, oceans withdraw, constellations vanish, and the vast display returns without resistance into its source.
Creation, preservation, and dissolution move around her like three immense currents. She removes suffering and opens every road toward the highest good. Yet this cosmic majesty does not stand apart from love. The power through which all worlds arise is Sita, the beloved of Ram, and Tulsidas bows at her feet.
At the still centre of the turning worlds, Sita remains beside Ram.

उद्भवस्थितिसंहारकारिणीं क्लेशहारिणीम्। सर्वश्रेयस्करीं सीतां नतोऽहं रामवल्लभाम्।।5।।
I bow to Seetaa, beloved of Raam, who is the cause of creation, sustenance, and dissolution of the universe, who removes all suffering, and who bestows every kind of blessing.
