In every home, families arrange auspicious kalashas with loving attention. Water, leaves, vessels, colour, and ornament turn domestic thresholds into places of blessing for Ram's return.
Above the decorated city, Brahma and the assembled gods gaze upon Ayodhya with wonder and delight. The heaven that showered flowers over Mithila's wedding road now pauses before the splendour prepared by human devotion.
Ram's city appears not merely wealthy but inwardly awakened. Thousands of households perform one act of welcome through their own hands, and private love becomes a shared sacred landscape. What astonishes the gods is the citywide harmony of attention gathered around the coming Lord.
