The queen's plea rests upon the nature of the one before her. Ram fulfils worthy desires, shines as the crest jewel among the wise, and lives beloved within every heart.
He cherishes the virtues of those who turn toward him and destroys their faults. Compassion is not one quality among others in him. It is the dwelling from which his seeing, receiving, and protecting arise.
Therefore Sunayana can entrust Sita without explaining the full depth of a mother's fear. Ram knows the hearts of Mithila, values devotion, and does not fix his gaze upon deficiency. At the threshold of separation, remembrance of his nature becomes the ground beneath surrender. What love cannot control, compassion can safely receive.
The mother releases what she cannot keep into the compassion that cherishes every virtue and consumes every fault.

तुम्ह परिपूरन काम जान सिरोमनि भावप्रिय। जन गुन गाहक राम दोष दलन करुनायतन।।336।।
You are the fulfiller of all desires, the crown jewel among the wise, beloved of all hearts. O Rama, You cherish the virtues of Your devotees, destroy their faults, and are the very abode of compassion.
