Upon the golden structures, artisans carve leaves and fruit from green emeralds. Padmaraga stones open into flowers, their mineral colour arranged with the tenderness of living petals.
The work occupies a threshold between garden and jewel. Hard stone appears to grow, while foliage acquires a brilliance no ordinary branch could hold through changing seasons.
Even Brahma, maker of the visible world, might forget his own creation before such artistry. The compliment does not merely praise wealth. It honours human skill becoming so absorbed in celebration that crafted matter seems to recover life. Mithila prepares for Sita and Ram by making the boundary between nature and ornament impossible to find.
Emerald grows leaves, ruby opens into bloom, and even the Creator might mistake the wedding garden for his own.

Leaves and fruits were carved from green emeralds, and flowers fashioned from padmaraga stones. Seeing this artistry, so wondrously beautiful, even Brahma's mind would forget its own creation.
