The bow's movement ends the last uncertainty. Parashurama recognizes the glory concealed within Dasharatha's youthful son, and the entire history of the encounter changes meaning at once.

Ecstatic tremors rise through his body as though a closed tree has suddenly entered spring. The hand that gripped an axe now joins its palm to the other in reverence.

Love overwhelms the heart that wrath could not satisfy. The energy has not vanished; it has found its true direction. Fury, heroism, austerity, and devotion all turn toward Ram and become praise. Recognition does not destroy Parashurama's intensity. It blossoms through that very intensity until his fierce body can no longer contain the joy.

The warrior's fire becomes a flowering of love when he recognizes the Lord before him.

Read the passage from the Manas

जाना राम प्रभाउ तब पुलक प्रफुल्लित गात। जोरि पानि बोले बचन ह्दयँ न प्रेमु अमात।।284।।

Then Parashurama recognized the glory of Rama, and his entire body blossomed with divine thrills. With palms joined in reverence, he spoke these words, his heart unable to contain its boundless love.
