Court bards, genealogists, and singers recover their voices after the thunder. With disciplined memory they begin reciting the heroic praises of Ram, setting the impossible deed within the lineages and language of kings.
Joy moves quickly from acclaim into giving. People bring horses, elephants, wealth, jewels, and fine cloth, laying costly possessions forward as offerings without calculation.
Nothing can equal what has just been witnessed, yet generosity seeks a visible form. The citizens answer grace with abundance, allowing stored riches to leave their hands in the exhilaration of the hour. Around the broken bow, royal treasure becomes festival, and praise becomes something the whole city can touch and share.
Before Ram, Mithila's wealth loosens from guarded hands and becomes an offering of joy.
