A sacred mantra may be scarcely more than a breath upon the lips, yet Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and all the gods abide within its power. Magnitude is not the measure of spiritual force.
A tiny iron goad rests in a rider's hand, but even a colossal elephant wild with intoxication learns to answer its touch. The small object does not become physically greater than the beast. Its authority belongs to another order.
So Ram's tender youth cannot be weighed against Shiva's massive bow by visible proportion. Sunayana's fear counts size, age, and hardness. The companion's wisdom points toward concentrated power, where what appears slight may hold the key before which the immense becomes obedient.
Before true power, the difference between small and vast loses its authority.

मंत्र परम लघु जासु बस बिधि हरि हर सुर सर्ब। महामत्त गजराज कहुँ बस कर अंकुस खर्ब।।256।।
