Ram continues speaking to Lakshmana, but his mind remains captivated by Sita's beauty. Words of discernment and the current of love move together without contradiction.
His attention is compared to a bee drinking deeply from the nectar of her lotus face. The bee does not wound the flower or seize it. It rests in delight and receives fragrance, colour, and sweetness.
Within the garden, the first sight lengthens beyond clock time. Brother listens, companions draw near, flowers remain in the princes' hands, and Ram's inward gaze continues to drink from the face destiny has brought before him.
While Ram speaks of dharma, his heart rests like a bee upon Sita's lotus face.
