The women complete the account. The brothers fulfilled the brahmin's purpose, guarded the yajna, and along the road released Ahalya, the sage's wife, from the long curse.
They have now come to witness the Dhanush Yagna. The news joins Ram's beauty to the great bow and to the gathering of kings already filling Mithila.
Joy rises through the listening women. The city walk is no longer an accidental pleasure before a ceremony. The prince at whom every eye marvels is moving toward the test that will reveal him before Janaka, Sita, and the assembled world.
The name Ram reaches every window, followed by the whisper of Janaka's bow.

बिप्रकाजु करि बंधु दोउ मग मुनिबधू उधारि। आए देखन चापमख सुनि हरषीं सब नारि।।221।।
Having fulfilled the Brahmin's purpose, the two brothers, who along the way liberated the sage's wife Ahalya, have come to witness the Dhanush Yagna. Hearing this, all the women rejoiced.
