White mansions rise within Janaka's city, their surfaces bright against gold cloth and jewels. Countless designs move across facade, balcony, chamber, and arch with exquisite variation.

This is the dwelling place of Sita. The architecture surrounding her carries purity and radiance, but no crafted beauty can measure the one who lives within it.

Description therefore stops before the palace is exhausted. Stone, gem, textile, light, and proportion can be named, yet the splendour belongs to a mystery preparing to meet Ram. Mithila's loveliest chambers wait for the glance that will join two Leelas.

White walls and golden cloth surround Sita, while her true splendour remains beyond telling.
