A month passes as though it were a single day, yet the secret escapes every calculation. The festival has entered a time measured by love rather than the movement of ordinary hours.

Surya and his chariot grow weary, but the sun will not set. To cross beyond Ayodhya's horizon would mean turning away from the sight of the infant Ram, and even the lord of daylight cannot bear that separation.

Without sunset, how can night arrive? Creation itself appears to linger over the cradle. The One who sets the planets in motion has entered childhood, and the sun pauses upon its road to behold him.

The sun's horses tire above Ayodhya, but Surya cannot turn his gaze from the cradle.

Read the passage from the Manas

मास दिवस कर दिवस भा मरम न जानइ कोइ। रथ समेत रबि थाकेउ निसा कवन बिधि होइ।।195।।

A whole month passed as though it were a single day, yet no one could fathom this secret. The sun, together with his chariot, grew weary and would not set. How, then, could night ever come? Even Surya himself could not bear to leave the sight of baby Rama.
