Under Vasishtha's guidance, the Nandimukha shraddha is performed and every rite of jatakarma completed for the newborn prince. Ancient gesture and mantra receive the child whose existence precedes every lineage.
Sacred fire, water, offerings, blessings, and learned voices gather within the royal chamber. The human order honours Ram according to its most auspicious forms, while the source of that order lies quietly before them.
Dasharatha gives brahmins gold, cows, garments, and jewels. Joy takes material shape and leaves the treasury in generous streams. The birth cannot remain private happiness, so abundance travels outward through hands trained to bless.
Around the newborn Lord, ancient rites flower and the royal treasury opens.
