The boar towers before the hunting party like the peak of a dark mountain suddenly clothed in flesh. Its size should make escape impossible, yet power gathers through its limbs as it turns toward the deeper forest.
Pratapbhanu sees the quarry and acts at once. He drives his heels against the horse and launches into pursuit, royal focus narrowing to the moving black shape ahead.
The king cannot allow the creature to escape. Behind that determination, the ordered retinue and familiar paths begin to fall away. One chase draws the sovereign of seven continents toward ground where command, army, and reputation will offer no protection.
The mountain dark boar runs, and the emperor drives his horse beyond the known trail.

Seeing a massive boar, tall as the peak of a dark mountain, the king spurred his horse and galloped after it. He could not let the creature escape.
