Pratapbhanu ascends the throne, his very name carrying the brilliance of a sun made from valour. Royal command travels across the land, reaching city, village, field, road, and distant boundary.
Power is bound to sacred measure. The new king protects his people strictly according to Vedic law, placing authority beneath dharma rather than using dharma as ornament for authority.
Under that discipline, sin leaves no visible trace anywhere in the realm. The image is one of complete order before the hidden fall begins, a kingdom bright at noon and a ruler whose strength, legitimacy, and virtue seem beyond disturbance.
Pratapbhanu's command crosses the land, and no shadow of disorder appears beneath it.

जब प्रतापरबि भयउ नृप फिरी दोहाई देस। प्रजा पाल अति बेदबिधि कतहुँ नहीं अघ लेस।।153।।
When Pratapabhanu, the sun of valour, became king, his writ ran throughout the land. He protected his people strictly according to Vedic law; nowhere was there even a trace of sin. (153)
