The compassionate words pour into the ears of Manu and Shatarupa like nectar. Every limb thrills, and joy opens through their restored bodies as blossom follows rain across a long parched landscape.
What ages of effort could not produce arrives through hearing. The voice does not merely announce divine favour. It carries the power it declares, reviving strength while drawing love beyond the limits of the heart.
Manu falls in full prostration. No royal reserve remains before the unseen giver. Pressed to the earth, he begins to speak, but the affection gathered through millennia cannot be contained within language or even within the body that has just been renewed.
The heavenly voice enters as nectar, and Manu's whole restored body bows.
Read the passage from the Manas
श्रवन सुधा सम बचन सुनि पुलक प्रफुल्लित गात। बोले मनु करि दंडवत प्रेम न हृदयँ समात।।145।।
Hearing words sweet as nectar pour into their ears, their bodies thrilled and blossomed with joy. Manu bowed in full prostration and spoke, his heart unable to contain the love.
