Inside Narada's thought, the swayamvara has already begun. Kings wait beneath raised standards, the princess walks among them holding the ceremonial garland, and every face turns toward the choice in her hands.
The sage decides he needs supreme beauty at once, a form so vast in splendour that her gaze cannot pass beyond him. If she sees him and becomes enchanted, the victory garland will descend around his neck and the destiny read in her marks will become his own.
The image glows with certainty because desire now interprets imagination as promise. Narada does not yet see that the wished for form, the assembled city, and the anticipated triumph all rest within Hari's Maya.
In Narada's mind, the princess already lifts the victory garland toward his transformed face.

एहि अवसर चाहिअ परम सोभा रूप बिसाल। जो बिलोकि रीझै कुअँरि तब मेलै जयमाल।।131।।
"At this moment I need supreme beauty, a form vast and splendid. When the princess beholds me and is charmed, she will place the victory-garland around my neck."
