The divine descent moves through the broken age with decisive purpose. Asuras who devour peace are struck down. The devas rise from fear, and the order by which the worlds breathe is established again.
At the centre stands the bridge of Shruti, the Lord's own Vedic way spanning the dangerous current between confusion and truth. What violence had shattered is reset stone by stone. Worship can cross again, sacrifice regains its sacred direction, and dharma is guarded from the flood.
The Lord's spotless fame then travels throughout the world. Each protected life and restored path becomes part of that radiance. Shiva names these among the reasons for Ram's birth, while leaving room for countless mysteries still untold.
Over the darkened current, the bridge of Shruti rises beneath the protection of Ram.

They slay the asuras, establish the devas, and protect the bridge of their own Vedas (Shruti-setu). They spread their spotless glory throughout the world. These are the reasons for Ram's birth.
