The Vedas praise an immeasurable One whose powers exceed every organ and boundary. Wise seekers speak of him, and sages hold him steady within meditation while the outer world falls silent around their seats.
Shiva now gathers every description into one astonishing recognition. That very Reality is born as Dasharatha's son, Lord of Kosala and Bhagavan himself. The Brahman whom speech cannot contain will be heard crying in a royal chamber, seen walking through palace courtyards, and held against a father's breast.
He comes for his devotees. The infinite does not lose immensity by entering intimacy. Love is the doorway through which the unreachable One accepts a name, a lineage, and the nearness of human form.
The One held by sages in silence opens his eyes as the infant son of Dasharatha.

जेहि इमि गावहि बेद बुध जाहि धरहिं मुनि ध्यान।। सोइ दसरथ सुत भगत हित कोसलपति भगवान।।118।।
The One whom the Vedas and the wise thus celebrate, the One whom sages hold steadfast in meditation, that very One is the son of Dasharatha, the Lord of Kosala, Bhagavan Himself, who has come for the sake of His devotees.
