Parvati praises Shiva as all powerful, all knowing, and the dwelling of every auspicious art and virtue. Yoga, jnana, and vairagya rest in him as inexhaustible treasures.
For those who bow, even his Name becomes a wish fulfilling tree. The fruit is not limited to worldly desire. It includes the clarity and freedom by which desire itself is understood. Under its unseen shade, the restless mind discovers what it had truly been seeking.
Uma speaks this praise before questioning because true inquiry begins by recognizing the light in which an answer can become visible.
At Shiva's Name, the tree of wisdom bends its branches toward the one who bows.

प्रभु समरथ सर्बग्य सिव सकल कला गुन धाम।। जोग ग्यान बैराग्य निधि प्रनत कलपतरु नाम।।107।।
O Lord, you are all-powerful and all-knowing, Shiva, the very dwelling place of welfare. You are the abode of every art and virtue, the treasure-house of yoga, jnana, and vairagya. For those who bow before you, your Name alone is the wish-fulfilling tree (kalpataru).
