The sages return to Himavan and announce that the precise wedding hour has drawn near. Celestial movement, sacred calculation, and human preparation converge upon one moment.
The mountain king sends messengers to summon the gods back from their lodgings. The feast gives way to rite, and playful celebration gathers itself around the solemn centre of the marriage.
Across the city, lamps are tended, garments adjusted, and voices lowered as everyone turns toward the Vedic altar. The chosen moment approaches with the quiet precision of stars moving into their ordained places.
The chosen stars stand ready above Himavan as the gods are called to the mandap.
