Himavan speaks gently to Mena. Worry cannot see farther by circling the same feared future. He asks his beloved to place her heart instead in Shri Bhagavan.

The One who brought Parvati into being has not abandoned responsibility for her path. Her existence itself is evidence of a wisdom preceding parental fear and exceeding parental power.

Trust does not make the father indifferent. It allows his love to release the illusion that he alone must secure every outcome. The Creator of the daughter will also bring about her highest good.

The mountain releases his fear into the hands that first shaped Parvati.

Read the passage from the Manas

प्रिया सोचु परिहरहु सबु सुमिरहु श्रीभगवान। पारबतिहि निरमयउ जेहिं सोइ करिहि कल्यान।।71।।

Himavan spoke gently to his wife: "Beloved, set aside all worry and turn your heart to Shri Bhagavan. He who brought Parvati into being will Himself ensure her highest good."
