Pure water pours through every river of the Himalaya. Birds, deer, and bees dwell in happiness. Creatures that once met as hunter and hunted lay down their natural hostility, and the whole mountain turns toward mutual affection.
With Girija living there, the peaks shine like a heart that has received Ram Bhakti. New auspiciousness arises daily, and Brahma with the gods sings the glory of that blessed home. Parvati's presence has not merely beautified the landscape. It has altered the law by which its creatures meet.
Narada hears the news and arrives in delight. Himavan receives the sage with immense honour, washes his feet, offers a noble seat, and with Mena sprinkles the foot water through the palace. Then the mountain king calls his daughter and places her reverently at Narada's feet.
Predator and prey drink from one stream as Parvati bows before the travelling sage.

सरिता सब पुनित जलु बहहीं। खग मृग मधुप सुखी सब रहहीं।। सहज बयरु सब जीवन्ह त्यागा। गिरि पर सकल करहिं अनुरागा।। सोह सैल गिरिजा गृह आएँ। जिमि जनु रामभगति के पाएँ।। नित नूतन मंगल गृह तासू। ब्रह्मादिक गावहिं जसु जासू।। नारद समाचार सब पाए। कौतुकहीं गिरि गेह सिधाए।। सैलराज बड़ आदर कीन्हा। पद पखारि बर आसनु दीन्हा।। नारि सहित मुनि पद सिरु नावा। चरन सलिल सबु भवनु सिंचावा।। निज सौभाग्य बहुत गिरि बरना। सुता बोलि मेली मुनि चरना।।
All the rivers flowed with holy water. Birds, deer, and bees all dwelt in happiness. Every creature abandoned its natural enmity. All beings on the mountain lived in mutual love.
