After consecrating the well, the company returns toward Raghuraja while speaking of its glory. Sacred work completes itself by returning to the presence from which its command arose.
Atri tells Rama how the ancient place, the gathered waters, and Bharata's service have joined. The Lord receives the account of a pilgrimage site created without ambition for fame.
The power of the well is not separated from the dialogue that preceded it. Waters meant for Rama's coronation were surrendered to Rama's will, directed by a sage, and established through Bharata. Its holiness carries the whole chain of obedience within it.
The new pilgrimage returns in words to Rama, bearing within its waters the full current of guru, command, and Bharata's surrender.

Speaking of the well's glory, they all went to where Raghuraja dwelt. Atri explained to the Lord of the Raghus the sacred power of this pilgrimage site.
