Bharata has brought water from every sacred pilgrimage place under the guru's instruction. Each vessel was gathered for Rama's coronation and carried through the long forest road as a visible hope.
The throne has not been accepted, yet the waters remain holy and purposeful. Bharata will not discard them merely because his desired ceremony cannot occur in the form first imagined.
He asks Rama what should now be done. Even a broken plan can be returned to the Lord and receive another sacred use. The waters stand before him like accumulated longing, waiting for command to transform disappointed expectation into offering.
The waters gathered for a crown remain before Rama, ready for obedience to give holy longing a new destination.
