The people know that the happiness they have tasted cannot be obtained through ordinary effort. Where could such fortune be found, and who could claim themselves worthy of it?
Their joy is not produced by the forest's beauty alone. It arises from nearness to Rama, from waking where his feet touch the earth, and from belonging to a community whose attention has gathered around him.
Ayodhya and Mithila arrived with distinct griefs, loyalties, and hopes. Now one natural affection moves through both societies. Without decree or persuasion, their hearts incline toward Rama's feet. Shared devotion creates the unity that political arrangement could not manufacture, making strangers members of one inward kingdom.
Ayodhya and Mithila become one society not by royal treaty, but by the same unforced love flowing toward Rama's feet.

एहि सुख जोग न लोग सब कहहिं कहाँ अस भागु।। सहज सुभायँ समाज दुहु राम चरन अनुरागु।।280।।
All say that such happiness is not meant for everyone; where can such fortune be found? Naturally, both communities felt deep love for Rama's feet.
