Vasishtha receives the forest's abundance and sends full loads outward with reverence. No household is forgotten, and no gift is treated as common because it came without royal vessels.
Before anyone eats, the gathered people honor ancestors, gods, guests, and teachers. Hunger waits while gratitude places the visible food within a larger chain of life, memory, hospitality, and wisdom.
Only then does the feast begin. Roots and fruits gathered by forest hands become sacred nourishment for kings and citizens. The order of offering transforms simple food into communion, joining the departed, the divine, the stranger, the guru, and the living assemblies beneath one canopy of remembrance.
The first fruit is offered before it is tasted, and Chitrakoot's simple abundance becomes a feast joining earth, ancestor, guest, god, and guru.

सादर सब कहँ रामगुर पठए भरि भरि भार। पूजि पितर सुर अतिथि गुर लगे करन फरहार।।279।।
With reverence, Rama's guru sent forth loads upon loads to all. Honoring ancestors, gods, guests, and teachers, they began the great feast.
