The assembly does not need a victory in which one side leaves wounded. It needs Rama's heart to become peaceful and unburdened by the pressure of those who love him.
From that still center, let him assign each person the service that is theirs. Brother, citizen, mother, king, sage, and forest companion can each receive a distinct command without division, because all commands will arise from the same compassionate will.
Each person will lift that instruction to the head before carrying it into action. Obedience will gather scattered desires into a single movement, and the knots of confusion will loosen. Bharata sees harmony not in making everyone want the same outcome, but in making every heart ready to serve whatever Rama gives.
When Rama speaks from an untroubled heart and each receives his command as sacred, the many strands of conflict become one act of service.
Read the passage from the Manas
प्रभु प्रसन्न मन सकुच तजि जो जेहि आयसु देब। सो सिर धरि धरि करिहि सबु मिटिहि अनट अवरेब।।269।।
When the Lord's mind is at peace and free from hesitation, whatever command He gives to whomever, that person will carry it out, placing it reverently upon their head. All discord and confusion will be dispelled.
