Beneath the Wish Fulfilling Tree, Every Sorrow Grows Quiet

A tree stands without asking the rank of the traveler who approaches. Its shade descends equally upon a crowned head and a beggar's brow, upon the noble and the despised.
To recognize such a tree and draw near is already to find relief. The burning road cools beneath its leaves. The scattered mind gathers itself. Sorrows that seemed woven into the nature of the world become quiet in the shelter of grace.
Rama is the living fulfillment of that image before Bharata. Whoever asks with a true heart receives the good they seek, but the tree's impartial generosity also transforms the asking. Beneath its shade, desire is purified until the heart can seek not possession, but the welfare that belongs to all.
Rama's shade falls upon king and beggar alike, cooling sorrow and teaching desire to ask for the good of all.

जाइ निकट पहिचानि तरु छाहँ समनि सब सोच। मागत अभिमत पाव जग राउ रंकु भल पोच।।267।।
Drawing near and finding shelter beneath that sacred tree, all sorrow melts away. In this world, whoever asks with a true heart receives what they long for, whether king or beggar, noble or humble.
