Ram's mountain dwelling opens before Bharata in beauty. Every mile of restraint, every night of wakefulness, and every refusal of comfort gathers at the edge of sight.
Overwhelming love rises in his heart. The landscape is no longer merely the place where Ram may be found. It is already the visible radiance of his presence.
Bharata resembles an ascetic whose long discipline has reached completion and yielded its fruit. The comparison turns pilgrimage into tapas and seeing into fruition. Yet the joy does not belong to achievement or spiritual possession. It comes because practice has brought the seeker close enough to behold the beloved's dwelling.
At sight of Ram's mountain, Bharata receives the fruit of his vow before he receives the embrace for which the vow was kept.

Beholding the beauty of Rama's mountain dwelling, Bharat felt an overwhelming prema rise in his heart. He was like a tapas who, having received the fruit of long penance, finds perfect joy as his niyama reaches fulfillment.
