The Knower of Hearts Already Knows Bharata's Love

Guha asks Bharata to hold one thought firmly: Ram is the indwelling knower of every heart. Nothing hidden within Bharata requires defense before him.
The Lord is also a dwelling of compassion, tender and modest before sincere love. Bharata's anguish cannot disclose anything that Ram's inward knowledge has failed to see.
With this assurance, Guha invites him to leave the sacred resting place and take repose. Rest is not forgetfulness here. It is the bodily form of trust that the beloved knows. Bharata can loosen his grief for a few hours because the witness within both brothers has never been separated by forest, river, accusation, or night.
Because Ram knows the heart from within, Bharata may leave the grass bed without leaving love and may rest without abandoning repentance.

अंतरजामी रामु सकुच सप्रेम कृपायतन। चलिअ करिअ बिश्रामु यह बिचारि दृढ़ आनि मन।।201।।
Rama, the Antarajaamee (knower of all hearts), felt modest at such loving and gracious words. 'Come, let us go and take rest,' He resolved, composing His mind with steady resolve.
