Sorrow falls away from Guha once his course appears clear. He moves among the Nishadas and raises their courage until hesitation gives way to readiness.
At the center of the gathering he remembers Ram. From that remembrance comes the command for quiver, bow, and armor, each object summoned with the speed of a heart that believes its hour of service has arrived.
The scene is taut with preparation, yet its deepest action is inward. Guha does not arm himself for land, wealth, or personal grievance. The name of Ram passes through his mind before the bow reaches his hand. Even clouded judgment cannot hide the axis of his life: remembrance first, then action shaped around it.
Guha's grief becomes courage when remembrance of Ram reaches his heart before quiver, bow, and armor reach his body.

His sorrow cast away, the Nishada chief roused everyone's spirits. Remembering Rama, he at once called for quiver, bow, and armor.
