Faithful servants receive responsibility for Ayodhya, and every part of the procession is respectfully set in motion. Nothing entrusted to Bharata is abandoned in the haste to leave.
Only then do Bharata and Shatrughna depart. Their bodies join the road while their minds have already gone ahead to the feet of Sita and Ram.
The city behind them is protected, the ritual company before them ordered, and the brothers' inward direction singular. Administration and devotion no longer compete. Careful stewardship frees them to travel without a divided conscience, carrying remembrance as the unseen leader of the procession.
After entrusting Ayodhya to faithful hands, Bharata and Shatrughna follow minds already resting at the forest feet of Sita and Ram.

Entrusting the city to faithful servants and respectfully setting all in motion, the two brothers Bharat and Shatrughna departed, their hearts fixed upon the lotus feet of Rama and Sita.
