Vasishtha asks what praise could be sufficient for the father whose sons are Ram, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna.
Each stands pure and noble in a different field of love: truth accepted, service chosen, benefit rejected, and brotherhood defended. Together they become the visible fruit of Dasharatha's house.
The king's honor is not confined to conquests or wealth. It lives in four sons whose conduct will carry the dynasty through catastrophe without surrendering devotion. In the assembly, Bharata hears his own name included among them at the very moment he feels least worthy of belonging.
Vasishtha crowns Dasharatha's memory not with empire but with the four pure sons through whom his lineage continues to shine.

Tell me, dear child, how could anyone sufficiently praise the one whose sons are as pure and noble as you: Rama, Lakshmana, you yourself, and Shatrughna?
